In the spiritual community, we often
speak of abundance — how it is the natural state of being for all.
But for me, growing up in a frugal household, abundance was not an idea I
connected with immediately. What I did connect with, however, was a deep-seated
understanding of integrity: I was taught never to take more than was truly
mine, and to never feel comfortable owing others unjustly. Without realizing it
at the time, this mindset created a life where I always had enough — and often,
more than I needed — because I lived within the laws of balance and respect.
At around eleven years old, I began
studying economics. Very quickly, it became clear to me that the systems in
place — built on fear, control, and ownership — were not reflections of natural
law. They were distortions. I could see that many, including my own parents,
were trapped by these systems. I knew instinctively that I wanted no part of
it.
From there, my relationship with
money shifted. Money, to me, was never the goal. It was about experience — and
later, about service.
With my background in accounting, I
understood early on that revenue could always be increased and costs often
reduced. Growing up frugal taught me the importance of efficiency and
resourcefulness — lessons I carry with me to this day. (As I write this, my
mouse pad has been in active service for over twenty-five years, my computer
has long outlived its expected life, and my closet still holds clothes from my
elementary school days.)
Money is energy. In nature, energy
flows — stagnation is death.
Yet for that flow to be pure, it must move not from greed, but from true
abundance.
The monopolies and systems of the
old world — built on ownership, fear, and scarcity — are fading. Who wants to
be a slave when nature freely provides everything we need? From the harshness
of my early experiences was born a deeper truth: that it is possible to live
richly, humbly, and in full alignment with Spirit.
In this new world, we heal greed not
by fighting it — but by starving it.
We eliminate its presence from our lives by refusing to engage in its
structures.
We choose another way: one rooted in love, trust, and generosity.
This is why Soul Wise Wellness
operates by donation — to honor the truth that abundance is a shared
experience, not a commodity to be hoarded.
It is time to live as nature intended: giving freely, receiving freely,
thriving together.
